Contract Assessment
At some point in your buying property adventure you will sign a contract with someone.
In an ideal world contracts are fair and reasonable to all, designed to protect both sides equally and are enforced as a last resort.
In the real world they are generally biased in favour of the person who paid to have it written, they are short on detail and just reading them frightens the hell out of people or bores them to tears.
The fundamental thing you have to understand with any contract you are handed is that before you sign it it is not carved in stone.
It can be changed and it should be changed if it isn't fair and if the other party doesn't like the changes then the deal is off. The power is all yours.
Prior to signing your contract send it to us with details of what you think you are buying and we will suggest inclusions in the contract to safeguard you.
We respond quickly to email enquiries, so when that brightly smiling agent is putting you under pressure to sign something you don't understand or are unsure of, stop, call for time out and contact us. It might save you a lot of money.
